Otello is a limited edition collector's item, designed and made by us to represent Italian design worldwide However, Otello is also an actual machine to make fresh pasta, with which you can prepare sheets of pasta, fettuccine and tagliolini.

The 7-position adjustment knob of Otello allows you to prepare pasta sheet in different thicknesses, suitable for many shapes of pasta. With Otello you can prepare Lasagne with a maximum width of 150 mm, 1.5 mm Fettuccine and 1.5 mm Tagliolini.

The base and knobs of the handle are made with Wengè solid wood. They give it a vintage look, whilst retaining the typical stability and strength Marcato products. The wood is treated with natural oil to increase resistance and durability over time.

Additional Details:

• Otello uses exclusive rollers made of anodised aluminium alloy and combs and scrapers made of polymeric resin. These materials guarantee the absence of metal dust particles, which are harmful to health.
• The wooden base of Othello and the practical clamp guarantee perfect stability of the machine on flat surfaces.
• The anodised aluminium rollers feature an imperceptibly rough surface. The pasta comes out porous and binds more easily with the condiments used.
• The bayonet coupling of the crank and the wooden handle make the machine easier to use.
• The adjustment knob with 7 clear positions ensures the pasta thickness is immediately selected.
• The surfaces of Otello can easily be cleaned with a cloth and maintenance is simplified by the presence of removable polymeric resin combs. Otello is not dishwasher safe!
