Description

The Shun Kanso 7-in. Hollow-Ground Santoku is an Asian-inspired chef's knife that many cooks have added to their kitchen favorites.

A knife of many talents, a santoku easily handles all the basic kitchen cutting tasks and is very easy to maneuver—even in a smaller kitchen.

There's just enough belly curve to enable rocking cuts, making the santoku even more versatile. As easy to use as a chef's knife, the santoku is especially well suited to a down-and-forward cutting motion (push cut).

Inspired by the traditions of ancient Japan, today’s highly skilled Shun artisans produce blades of unparalleled quality and beauty. Shun is dedicated to maintaining this ancient tradition by continuing to handcraft each knife in our Seki City facilities. Each piece of this fine kitchen cutlery takes at least 100 individual steps to complete.
